Certified Home Health Aides also known as Homemakers or CHHA's, provide home based care to clients assisting them with activities of daily living. The role of a home health aide is essential in fulfilling the personal needs of clients enabling them to remain home and live independently. Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) career growth is projected by www.bls.gov to grow 38% between the years 2014 - 2024, much higher than the average for other careers in the U.S. We are very proud of maintaining a high rate of job placement for recent graduates.
We offer CHHA training approved by the New Jersey Board of Nursing. Available in English and Spanish, training consists of 60 hours of classroom and 16 hours of clinical instruction at one of our approved training facilities. Additionally, we provide 12 hours of continued education annually and offer the CHHA Module for currently licensed CNA'S who wish to add the CHHA endorsement to their current professional license. You will be trained by expert Registered Nurses in the field and upon the completion of required hours, passing competency and evaluation testing you will be eligible to receive your certification from the State of New Jersey.
